We have thought about and discussed together:

  • How we can be influenced by things we see online.
  • That not everything we see online is trustworthy.
  • The reasons why a young person might run away from home.

We listened to the difference between content and contact online and ways to spot false information.  We discussed the consequences of clicking on untrustworthy links and if things go wrong some children may feel that running away is the only option.  Sharing experiences and getting support from trusted adults was encouraged if the children were ever in this situation.
