Year 1 Activities in School
Week 1
We had a fantastic first week back and the children looked so smart in their new uniforms.
The dinosaur experience was fabulous, had so much fun and learnt so many new things about dinosaurs. We are currently reading 'Dinosaur Roar' by Paul and Henrietta Strickland. Its a great introduction to poetry and the children have enjoyed exploring the rhyming language.
Yesterday, the children arrived at school to another surprise......our dinosaur eggs had hatched! We spent some time looking at the type of dinosaur, and have now made a habitat for them in our classrooms, so that the children can take care of them and watch them grow.
